Crown Me The King
After a series of advertising commercials, WWU Rampage finally comes back LIVE! To the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The crowd is on there feet for an amazing show. After some the things they have already seen tonight. They can’t imagine it getting any better, but it will. The camera angle changes and goes down by ringside where the announce team of Good Ol’ Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawyler, as they get ready to continue with tonight’s proceedings.
Good Ol’ Jim Ross
Hello ladies and gentlemen we welcome you back here live to the sold out arena, here in Baltimore Maryland. It’s electric in here tonight. Don’t you think so King?
Jerry “The King” Lawyler
Yeah J.R. they sure packed up in here. But you know what else was electric? Last Sunday at Merciless when some of the greatest superstars in our business today squared off in a 20 foot high Steel Cage.
Good Ol’ Jim Ross
Yeah King I still feel the goosebumps from when all the men where entangled from from the top of the cage and they all came down, sort of like domino effect. But one man came of that match victorious. One man walked all the gold that night. That man was the one and only Jeff Jarrett!!
The scene changes as a replay is played over the Titantron in the arena of Last Sunday’s steel cage, king of the ring, final match. In the clip it shows JBL being handcuffed to the ring rope. Mankind nailing MVP with a double armed DDT. It shows Jarrett smashing the guitar over Mankind’s head. Then Jarrett kicks open JBL cuffs accidentally setting him free. Then Mankind’s mask is removed to reveal Mick Foley. As JBL is trying to escape he grabbed by Jeff Jarrett, who is grabbed by MVP, who is grabbed by Mick Foley, which sends them all crashing to the mat. The final scene shows Jarrett kicking away Mick Foley and exiting the ring, and getting hand raises in the King’s Throne after the match. The camera comes back live into the arena. Lillian Garcia has made her into the ring.
Lillian Garcia
From Nashville, Tennessee, weighting at two hundred and thirty pounds. The new A- Division Champion and Intergalactic Champion. Also the WWU’s first King of the Ring, Jeff Jarrett!!
Cowboy by Kid Rock is blasted over the PA system, from every corner of the arena. The fans stand on their feet as they wait on Jeff Jarrett to appear. Jeff Jarrett finally comes from backstage and through the curtain. Jarrett stops at the top of the ramp. His long jacket, has and is now royal blue Ric Flair styled sleeveless robe. On the inside he has on his silver trunks and Chosen One t-shirt. Also, by his side at all times is his tradmarc acoustic guitar. Jarrett throws his arms in the air, at that moment fireworks begin to shot up from the stage. When the fireworks stop, Jarrett puts his arms down and begins to make his way down the ramp. He doesn’t even look into the crowd, he just continues on his way down to the ring. Finally he walks up the steps, onto the apron, and into the ring, with guitar in hand. Lillian Garcia hands him the microphone and exits the ring. Jarrett’s entrance music dies down as he hold’s the mic in his hands.
“King of the Universe” Jeff Jarrett
I want all of you present in this arena here tonight to stand on your feet. I want you to take a good look at what is presented before you in this very ring. Do you even know what you are looking at people, because I don’t think that you do, or you would be standing and applauding my very appearance here tonight. Last Sunday I was in one the most brutal matches that I have ever been in, against some of the biggest names in the entire industry. I face not one, not two, but three top notch opponents. I through hell, and I came out of it the King of the Ring. Now over the years of various King of the Ring winners, I notice that they all tend to give a speech. Since I wasn’t allowed my time last Sunday I guess I’ll have to give right here tonight, with this time that they gave me to speak. In this tournament I went through opponent after opponent, week after week. I took them all down one by one. I told you all from day one that Jarrett was here to make an impact. When management put me in this tournament, I took it as the ultimate opportunity to make an impact here. To stamp my name forever in the record books, as the first ever King of Ring in this company. To be the first to do something now that is special. I emerged victorious from the hell that is a steel cage. No one can claim that I came out with a fluke victory now. To even raise the stakes of the match, management put Mankind’s A – Division Championship on the line, as well as JBL’s Intergalactic championship on the line. I thought to myself, I always wanted to be a champion where ever I went and this is the perfect opportunity to gain not one but two titles in one match. I couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by and I didn’t. So Crown me the King, because that’s what I am. Who better to be the king of the World Wrestling Universe than me huh? Who has more desire and will in that ring than me. I want to say this to all the guys in the back. I been back there for a while now, and some you guys make me sick. Walking around with your chest stuck out, but when comes to proving it in the ring you don’t have the man power. I want everybody to here this. Anybody can talk the talk, but it takes a man to walk the walk. And when you can walk the walk come and find me. I don’t care who you are small, tall weak, strong skinny, fat. Anybody can become a victim of the stroke, courtesy of Jeff Jarrett.
Jarrett pauses for a moment and let’s what he just sink into the crowd’s mind about what he has said.
“King of the Ring” Jeff Jarrett
Oh you have anything to say now do you? Jeff Jarrett has done the impossible once again. Not only did I prove the entire world wrong. I also made you eat your words, before they even came out of your mouth. You all ready to write me off, call me a has been, and pour dirt on my grave. I wasn’t ready to call it quits no I wasn’t ready for that. I didn’t just knock on the door I blew the door down, and made myself a reservation at the table with my date greatness. You all thought that I was done, didn’t you. I heard the rumors about Jeff Jarrett retiring after he loses at Merciless. Well guess what, It ain’t gonna happen. I’m just getting started on my push for even more in what’s left of my wrestling career. Believe me I still I have a lot left in the tank to go on for years and years to come, but I’ll get to that later. If thought this was the end no this is just the beginning of bigger and even better things to come. Yeah I’m talking about you Reign Havok. After my match I went to the back to continue to watch the Pay- Per View to see who would be my next possible target. As I was sitting the back watching on the greatest matches that I have ever witnessed as two men put their bodies aside and fought with nothing but heart, in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Neither would back down or give up, It took a belly to belly for the top rope to put away the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. I thought to myself he deserves the title after all he went through in that match. Then out of no where you come in here and you get a title match over all the guys who have been here week in and week out, giving it all they got to these people, and this company. You get the nod for a World Heavyweight Championship match? That don’t sit well with Jeff Jarrett. You are holding the title on fraud and I’m coming to take you down kid. I don’t know where and I don’t when but one day you come face to face with me in that ring. So get ready!!
Some the fans begin to cheer at the surprise of Jeff. He is taken aback then he regains himself and goes on with what he has to say.
“King of the Ring” Jeff Jarrett
When I sitting at home after winning the gold. I got a phone call from WWU management about some complaints that they had been getting from a certain superstar. Apparently they had been getting phone calls from one, John Bradshaw Layfield about a rematch for his title. According to him, he never confirmed the plan that his tournament was to be put on line, inside the steel cage at Merciless. So he was complaining that he should still be champion on account, and that I should be striped of the title. So figuring that this would be the only way to get another shot at his gold, he informed them that he would be invoking his rematch clause. They called me and told me that I was the one who would schedule the date from any day from now until the next PPV. I thought to myself how dare he say that I shouldn’t be champion, I won the match fair and square and he lost the match. You what I told, want him at the next Rampage, I’m going to take him down and show him that I am the true champion. I don’t having a problem with defending my title whenever, and wherever. John it seems like you will never change. You will always be the one trying to discredit others and never wanting to anyone else their due. You always go around saying you’re the “Wrestling God.” I don’t see God, I just see a man that the shell of his former self. The JBL I knew would own up when a man beat him. The JBL I knew would run, hide, and cry to management that you lost your title. The JBL I knew wasn’t a coward. I don’t run from a fight, and I back down from a challenge so JBL if you want this title your going to have to come and beat me for it, and I ain’t going away easily. Management said there would be no rules in this match, so that means we can bring a few tables, we can bring a few chairs, hell we can even bring a guitar. So you bring what you want bring the strap, bring the bull rope it doesn’t matter. I’m not coming to be your friend, no time for that is over. I’m coming to hurt you and hurt you bad.
Cowboy once again is played throughout the arena, as Jeff finishes talking, and drops the mic in the ring where stands. He puts hands on his hips and moves around slowly in a circular motion. He then goes to one of the turnbuckles and goes to the second rope. He talks to the crowd for moment shouting “I Am The Chosen One.” Then he throws his arms in the air with the guitar in one and the other hand in a clinched fist. He hops down back on the mat, and exits the ring. And Finally, begins to make his way back up the ramp and through the curtain.
