Live! From The New Alhambra Arena, Philadelphia! 15/08/08 As the scene opens up we see a corridor of the Philadelphia Arena and some staff members setting up things for the debut of Impact Wrestling Organization. Suddenly the camera turns to the right and wee see a door that has “IWO Chairman” typed on it. We open the door and we see a desk and the back of a black chair. A voice is heard. They said I couldn’t be a business man, they said I couldn’t book a phenomenal show, they said I couldn’t one of the top dogs and now it’s time to prove they were wrong.. The chair spins and we see no other then Vince…Russo. He is the one that is controlling this new wrestling promotion. He is wearing a nice suite. He puts a smirk on his face and starts his speech. As the scene fades we see the arena where millions fans are waiting for the show to get start. Suddenly the lights go off as the Impact Wrestling Organization logo slowly wipes across the screen. “THROW UP YA RAWKFIST IF YA FEELIN’IT WHEN I DROP THS!” |
An upbeat guitar suddenly perks up our ears, grasping the attention of millions around the world. The song suddenly picks up, as the rest of the band joins in. With the sound of "Rawkfist" by Thousand Foot Krutch blaring through our ears. As the chorus kicks in he thousands of fans in attendance begin to go wild, as lights begin to flash upon the stage. The camera pans throughout the crowd catching them in their moment of excitement and pure adrenaline. We switch cameras, looking on at the stage. The guitar comes in with a solo, as the lights slightly dim. The song slowly rises in volume, as a massive explosion of pyrotechnics shoots off. The stage is completely lit up and the energy in the building is absolutely amazing. We quickly cut over to Joey Styles and Cyrus the Virus, who brings us the introduction... Styles: Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the first edition of Friday Night…Collision! I’m Joey Styles and next to me is Cyrus the Virus Cyrus: That’s Right Joey! And tonight folks is the first of many that are still to come. Styles: Yeah and what better way to start than with a tournament for the IWO Heavyweight Championship! Cyrus: Tonight we will have amazing matches, first we have John Cena facing James Dahmer and then CM Punk taking on the returning Owen Hart. Styles: And that’s not all then we have a three way dance match between Montel Vontavious Porter, D’lo Brown and the Undertaker. And if this isn’t big the next match will be the dream match of many fans because it The Rock against Bret “The Hitman” Hart! Cyrus: And last but no at least…we will have the battle of egos between two of the thingyiest wrestlers of this generation. Randy Orton taking on Elijah Burke. Styles: And what great night this will be and folks I’m so happy of…. Cyrus: Oh don’t start kissing Russo’s ass! Do that later cause I wanna see the show start! Styles: I wasn’t gonna…oh well let’s start the sho... |
Joey Styles gets cut off by "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge as the fans boo knowing that the "Rated-R Superstar" is about to come out; smoke starts to come out of the entrance way then fills up the whole ramp as Edge steps out with anger on his face. Edge wears his signature "Rated-R" shirt and tight blue jeans; the smoke stops while Edge continues to walk down the ramp only to focus on the ring and not the fans that continue to boo him. Cyrus: Now here is a wrestler that is worth watching, see Styles, you need to be more like this guy and maybe people will start showing you some respect, not alot but enough. Styles: I doubt bashing people's head with a steel chair, completely going crazy for not having it my way, and pulling my hair will get me respect. Edge makes it down the ramp and slides into the ring remaining on the mat for a couple of seconds; Edge gets up and directing doesn't taunt and gets a microphone just to rush things. His song dies out as the fans boo with Edge standing in the middle of the ring with the mic in his hand. Edge: SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! The fans quit their boos causing Edge to put that smirk in his face knowing that he now has control. Edge: Now, I came here to Impact Wrestling Organization to simply take what's right fully mine. So when I go up for this so called "tournament" that Vince Russo began, he had the nerve to tell me I'm to late and the matches were locked. Now that I'm not in the tournament, where does that leave me? What about Edge!? This tournament is nothing without Edge; and even if I have to beat every single superstar down, I will prove to Vince Russo that he made that biggest mistake of his life! Edge drives his hands through his hair like he is about to go crazy; he puts his head up smelling the air to relax himself. Edge puts his head down and begins to speak again. Edge: Vince, you and I both know that I should be the only one going for the World Heavyweight Title let alone fighting in some little tournament; now what I want you do is come out here with the World Heavyweight Champion and award me the title, right now! |
Edge awaits for Vince Russo to come out when suddenly the lights turn off with Edge looking up at ceiling. "Just Close Your Eyes/My Last Breath" by Waterproof plays as fans jump from their seats cheering for the "Instant Classic"; the Captain Charisma sign goes up by fans as Christian Cage comes out with Edge having confusion in his eyes. Cage wears his "Instant Classic" shirt with faded blue jeans with a microphone in his hand and begins to walk down the ramp. Cage makes it down the ramp entering the ring via middle ropes and looks at Edge directly in the eyes, putting the mic to his mouth Cage begins to speak. Cage: Hold on there Edge, I also tried to get into this little tournament too, but the same I you, I was to late; but you don't see me coming out here complaining to the peeps now. Now right now your demanding the World Title to be awarded to you when everyone knows that the rightful champ should be won fairly, now what it seems to me is that none of my "peeps" here want to see you Edge. The only thing the "peeps" want to see is yours truly the "Instant Classic" Christian Cage. Edge, me and you go way back and you have changed alot; now that bothers me alot. So what do you say, just grow up and accept the fact that you are not in the tournament and wait till next time. Edge: Who in the hell are you to tell me what I can and cannot do? Yeah sure, me and you go back, but those were the worst days of my life; you were annoying, you were a jackass, and nobody liked you! You were jealous of me, and you always will be. Cage: Well clearly it seems that you aren't gonna leave, but considering the fact what you just said; I think me and the "peeps" know that the true jackass is you Edge. And clearly when you said I was jealous, jealous of what? The fact that you had it all, well Edge, when you have it all, you eventually lose it. And that's what you look like right now, you look like a loser pleading for attention. Edge: Christian, I don't think your understanding, you see I live off attention, hell I get to much attention. And by looking at you right now and seeing what you have become makes you look more like a loser with your "peeps". But hey, if I want to attention, I might as well start something. Edge drops his mic and punches Cage right in the jaw causing the fans to boo at Edge. Cage stumbles backwards as Edge charges at him starting a big brawl; Edge begins swinging at Cage making Cage strike back. Both men throw punches at each other and Cage begins to take control grounding Edge; security begins to come out from the back to separate the two. They separate the two as they try to break free with anger in the faces looking at each other. Collision then fades away to a commercial. |
John Cenavs. James Dahmer As the show comes back from the commercial we see John Cena entering in the ring wearing a chain gang shirt and a chain gang cap. Cena takes the shirt and the cap off and waist for his opponent to come out. “My Heart is a Fist” by Papa Roach starts to play as the lights dim in the arena. As the song picks up smoke fills the entrance way and a dim spotlight fixates on the ramp. Threw the smog James Dahmer appears with a leather jacket on. His head is bowed down as he raise his hands. He makes a L shape with both hands using his thumb, pointer and middle fingers. He then throws them down to his side as he walks down the ramp and towards the ring. He slides threw the bottom rope and goes to the closest turnbuckle. He then leans against the middle rope and awaits the match's start. “Ding! Ding! Ding!” James and Cena meet in the middle of the ring, and they are in each other's face. They seem to be exchanging words with each other. After Cena finishes speaking, James slaps him right across the face. Cena holds his face in his hands while looking at James. James comes toward him but John Cena elbows him in the gut. Cena gets on his feet, and elbows James on his back. James is holding his back in pain, and as Cena attempts to discus punch him, but as soon as Tyler turns around, James dropkicks him right in the kisser, and both men are down on the ground. James then gets up, and stomps at the back of John Cena's head. James then turns Cena over, and he is now lying on his back. James then stands beside John Cena's waist. Suddenly James drops down and lands a fist drop on Cena's groin. James gets up, and lands another fist drop to the groin. James then gets up, and goes toward the turnbuckles, and he climbs all the way to the top, and he taunts the crowd. The fans start to boo, and James just spreads out his arms, and enjoying the hate from the crowd. Suddenly John Cena gets up on his feet, and he lands an amazing dropkick to the back of James, which flips James over the turnbuckles, and he lands awkwardly on the outside. John Cena slides under the ropes and he goes near James, who is lying on the outside. Cena picks up James, and he lays him on the barricade. Cena then chops James on the chest, which gets some "Woo’s" from the crowd. He does it a second time and James falls forward to the edge of the ring. Cena then takes James by the head, and he is hitting it against the edge of the ring. Cena then hears the referee counting to ten, and Cena slides in the ring, but slides right back in to stop the count. Cena then starts chopping James again, and James keeps on taking it. Cena finally has enough, and he attempts to suplex James right on the ring steps. As Cena is about to lift James up, James blocks this from happening, but stepping on Cena's foot. James quickly takes his foot off, and he counters with a suplex of his own, which puts Cena in major pain. Finally James slides back into the ring taking Cena with him. James is in the ring standing up over a lifeless John Cena. James then keeps on humiliating Cena, by taunting him, and beating the crap out of him. James then lands a standing leg drop to the head of Cena. James goes for the pin. "1...2..." John Cena kicks out with a moment to spare. James then gets angry at the referee for counting so slow, and James is speaking down at him, and out of nowhere John Cena rolls up James for a pin, and the referee is certainly not reluctant to pin him, as he gets on his knees to count the pin. "1..." James kicks right after one. James gets up pissed of, and out of nowhere he big boots John Cena, who was just on his knees, and now laying on his back. James then goes behind Cena, and he is waiting for Cena to get up. Cena seems to be struggling to get up. When he finally does James comes running from behind, and he bulldogs Cena face first into the mat. James then sees Cena sitting on his behind, and he is holding his face in pain. James then gets behind Cena, and James gets on his knees, and applies a sleeper hold on Cena! Cena is struggling to get out of the hold. James then is turning back and forth trying to put Cena into unconsciousness. James then stands up on his legs, and he starts turning back and fourth, and James bends his back to elevate Cena into the air. Cena just can't take it anymore, so he gets out of this hold the cheap way, by kicking James in the groin. James falls forward, and Cena is leaning on the ropes pain. James then gets up, and Cena runs toward him, and he enzuiguri's James, and they both fall to the ground. The referee starts to count to ten, and he reaches up to five until the referee, and Cena gets up and he is standing over James. Cena looks up at the crowd, and his mouth widens up, and he seems to be smiling towards the crowd. Suddenly Cena sttempts a splash, but James rolls out of the way, and Cena is in as much pain as before all of the other times. James then takes Cena by his hair, and he pulls him up to his legs, and now Cena is staring face to face with Cena. James then winds up his arms, and he throws one jab at him, then he hits him with another jab. Finally James holds Cena by the head, he kicks Cena in the guts, James hooks his arms and lifts Cena up to hit the Loose Cannon! James makes the cover. "1...2...3!" James gets up as the ref raises his left arm. Buffer: Here’s your winner…James…Dahmer! “My Heart is a Fist” hits the P.A System. James puts a evil smirk on his face. He then walks to the ramp as his music plays. The camera fades out. |
IWO camera’s come back from a commercial break to see Torrie Wilson, Maryse, and Maria all wearing silk robes. The three divas are lined up with the evening’s judge, Joey Styles. Joey begins speaking on the microphone. Joey Styles:Ladies and Gentlemen get ready for the hottest event of the summer! What to include in our first show but a IWO Divas Bikini Contest! The fans come alive, as the males seem to be ready for a wardrobe malfunction to occur at any second. Joey Styles:Well I’m not gonna bore you with the talk, so let’s see some action! First up, Maria! Maria begins to strut her stuff, slowly dancing while removing her silk robe to reveal a tiny red bikini. The crowd gives a loud ovation after finally seeing some long awaited skin from the former Playboy Cover Girl. Maria finishes up, picking up her robe and blowing a kiss to the fans in the front row. Joey Styles:Next up, Maryse! Maryse receives boo’s from some fans yet cheers for the fact that she will be removing some clothing. She takes off her robe revealing a white bikini that seems to be barely hanging onto her body and receives a pop from the male crowd once more. Maryse simply smirks as she walks back to her spot. Joey Styles:And last but not least, Torrie Wilson! A huge ovation echo’s throughout the arena as the crowd favorite Torrie Wilson steps up to show off her bathing suit. Torrie begins to slowly tease her way out of her robe, revealing a pink bathing suit which causes the crowd to go nuts, as she continues to dance. Torrie finishes and finds her way back to her spot. Joey Styles:Well I don’t think it’s any secret! The winner is…. “Wait…wait…wait a minute!” Kammy comes walking down the ramp with a microphone in hand, with a microphone in her hand. She stares down the other divas as she climbs into the ring. Kammy:We’ve got a problem here. Last time I checked, this was a wrestling show, not America’s Next Top Model. You ladies don’t deserve to be in this ring right now. Its women like me that give divas around the world their names. Its women like The Fabulous Moolah who put their heart and soul into wrestling. Now basically wrestling has become a joke. Here I stand with three women in their underwear, and all of you people like this? The fans cheer loudly as the divas wave their hands at them. Kammy:You all make me sick! This is a place for physical battle. This is the place for combat. This is the place where I became a legend in this business. This is the place…where I’ll take out the trash. Kammy charges at Maria, giving her a big clothesline. Torrie and Maryse charge out of the ring attempting to escape. Kammy stares at them, and then looks back down at Maria. She lifts her back up to her feet, then puts her head beneath Kammy’s arm. Kammy lifts her up high, and perfectly executes the Kammyplex. Maria lays out cold in the middle of the ring as “What Kammy Wants, Kammy Gets” hits the PA system, as Kammy stares down the other divas outside of the ring. |
Owen Hart vs. CM Punk As the show returns the referee stands in between the two to prevent any pre-match altercation from occurring. Once he walks away, he calls for the bell and the match begins to get underway. Punk and Owen circle each other a few times before Punk’s attempts to lock up with Owen. Hart slaps away Punk’s arms and they carry on circling each other. Finally, the men lock up and try their best to come out on top. Owen uses his greater experience in the ring to his advantage and transforms the lock up into a Hammerlock. He twists Punk’s arm until they seem like they are about to rip off from his body. Fortunately for Punk, Owen lets go. Unfortunately for Punk, he gets turned around and met with a couple of kicks in the abdomen. Punk bends down after each violent kick, until finally he is whipped into the turnbuckle. The veteran competitor, Owen, runs as best as he can towards Punk but only meets the turnbuckle. Punk moves out of the way and turns Owen to nail him with a left, a right, followed by stomps which bring Owen to a sitting position. Punk steps back and then runs rams his knee across Owen’s face. Spit flies out of his mouth and the fans start to cheer Punk because it finally sets in the Owen may lose his match. Punk drags Owen up by the arm and takes him down quickly with a Lariat Clothesline. Punk drags Fit into the middle of the ring and hooks both of his legs. "1...2... Owen kicks out because he simply does not want to lose his first match here in IWO. Punk gets up and starts to hit Owen with stomps, hitting various parts of Owen’s body. Punk seems to be taking out all his frustration towards Owen, seeing as how this is the last chance he is going to get at Owen. Finally, he stops pelting Owen showing a little mercy… Or maybe not because he then bounces off the ropes and drops a huge knee across Owen’s head. Owen grabs his head to try and relieve the pain. He rolls out of the way as Punk slowly recovers and gets to his feet. By the time that Punk reaches Owen, Owen is on his knees. Right as Punk tries to pick him up, Owen fires back strongly with stiff shots to the gut. He pulls Punk’s tights and throws him into the corner, face-first. After a few brief seconds of rest, Owen gets up behind Punk and rolls him up. "1...2..." Punk rolls his back off the mat to break the pin. The two men reach a vertical base as fast as they can and then charge at each other once again. Owen ducks under a Clothesline attempt and hits a Bulldog on Punk, planting Punk’s head into the ground. Will this be enough to secure the win? "1...2..." Punk kicks out to save himself the match. Owen slams the ground, but knows not to waste a lot of time. He stands up and brings Punk with him. He chops the Straight Edge’s chest and then hits a European Uppercut on the man who is trying to hand Owen a loss. Owen, known for his unorthodox style of wrestling, starts to do what he is best at. He uses his biggest weapon, his body, to his advantage. Owen stands to the side of Punk, leaps up into the air, and drops his buttocks across Punk’s chest and stomach. The fans start to cheer for Owen as he continues to build up a lot of momentum. Owen gets up and stomps Punk several times. Owen picks Punk up and drops him with a Scoop Slam onto the mat. Punk cringes and reflexes off the mat from the pain. Owen gets down on the mat and covers Punk for the pin. "1...2..." Punk gets his foot on the rope to break the hold. Owen looks really frustrated at this point, as anybody would be. Owen pulls Punk up by the head and attempts to whip him to the ropes. He successfully does and Punk rebounds to the ropes. As he comes off them, Owen attempts a Back Body drop, but gets leapfrogged over by Punk. CM Punk takes the King of Harts out with a Kitchen Sink. Some of the fans cheer for Punk, while the majority boos his offense. Owen gets pinned down to the mat by Punk. "1...2..." Owen kicks out and shows some great resilience. “Damn it!” Punk yells out. Owen tries to get himself out of the daze that he is in. Punk is still fuming from the kick out. He is now crawling all over the mat, preying Owen for the GTS. As soon as Owen gets up, Punk attempts his fatal finishing maneuver. However, Owen knows Punk all too well and sees this move coming. He moves out of the way and shoves him away. Punk gets shoved into the middle of the ring and as soon as he turns around, he runs at the still dazed Finlay. Punk goes for the clothesline but Owen ducks and hits Punk with the inverted piledriver. Owen taunts to the fans as he goes for his fatal move…the sharpshooter! Punk screams at pain as he tries to reach the ropes. Punk it’s a few inches away from the ropes but Owen pulls him to the middle of the square circle. Punk can’t handle the pain and taps out. Buffer: Here’s your winner…Owen…Haaaartt! Owen’s theme plays as he gets up and raises his arms as the referee is checking on Punk who seems really hurt. Punk has his hands around his right leg. As Owen gets out f the ring a medical team comes with a stretcher. They put CM Punk on it and take him to the lockerroom area. |

Taker stalls at the top of the ramp, looking over his opponents. He slowly begins to walk down the ramp paying little attention to the screaming fans. ‘Taker reaches the steps and climbs up them. He takes off his jacket and hands it to the ref who runs and places it at ringside. Undertaker slowly pulls off his hat, and rolls his eyes to the back of his head. Undertaker climbs into the ring, only to be assaulted by MVP. MVP takes Taker to the ground, pounding on him. D’ Lo comes from behind and hits a stiff clothesline on MVP, knocking him off of Undertaker. D’ Lo hits a Leg Drop across the chest of Undertaker, then goes to beat on MVP more. The ref calls for the bell. “Ding! Ding! Ding!” D’ Lo picks up MVP and knees him in the gut, followed by a DDT. D’ Lo gets up and turns around. Undertaker crushes his face in with a big boot. D’ Lo tumbles out of the ring. Taker picks up MVP and hits him with a right, backing him into the turnbuckle. He hits another right, and then backs up. Taker runs and pins MVP to the turnbuckle with a powerful clothesline. MVP falls down to his knees, and then on his face leaving Undertaker the only one standing. Taker flips out of the ring and picks up D’ Lo. He lifts him onto his shoulders, and runs toward the turnbuckle. BAM! D’ Lo’s head smacks into the turnbuckle as D’ Lo flies, and falls limp to the ground. Undertaker climbs back into the ring just as MVP is getting up. He grabs hold of MVP’s outfit and lifts him on his shoulders. He takes his thumb and runs it across his neck signaling for the Tombstone. As D' Lo grabs the Undertaker to connect the Sky High, the Deadman grabs him by the neck and hits the chockeslam. As Undertaker is about to make the pin MVP grabs him by his long black hair and throws him out of the ring. He starts yelling to Taker saying "I'm Better Than You!". D'lo is getting back to his feet. D’ Lo awaits MVP to turn and when he does… D' Lo connects with a Sky High on MVP! 1…2…3!!! D’ Lo does it! D’ Lo raises his hand in victory, but not for long. He grabs MVP and throws him like meal to the Undertaker. As MVP realizes he has The Undertaker on front of him, the Franchize Player runs to the backstage as Undertaker runs after him. While that chase happens D'lo asks for a mic. That's why I am the Real Deal! I work hard so when I have match I can beat my opponent and it doesn't matter who is and the IWO Roster your better re co... "Don't you wanna be Meeee!?!?!? Another explosion, and “Don't you wish you were Me” blares over the arena, sending the fans into a riot of cheers for their long lost hero, Chris Jericho. Y2J stands at the top of the ramp, arms outstretched, spotlight shining down on him. Jericho spins around, and pumps his arm into his mid-section, the electricity running wild. Jericho sports a short hair cut, and has a rough looking beard on his face. He wears a “Highlite of the Nite” t-shirt, and faded jeans. The crowd cheers Jericho, but D'lo is less then happy at Y2J's return. Jericho holds a mic up to his mouth as his music comes to a close. Jericho: Welcome……to Collision….is…….JERICHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D'lo Brown looks confused to see Chris Jericho. Does this mean Jericho thinks he's better than D'lo Brown? The show goes for a commercial. |

Elijah Burke walks out of the curtains, wearing black tights with orange decals, walking thingyily to the ring, to a chorus of boos. Michael Buffer: This next contest, scheduled for one fall, is the match four of the Rush to Glory Tournament. Introducing first, he hails from Jacksonville, Florida. He weighs in tonight at 235 pounds. He is... EEEELLLLLIJAHHHH BURKE! Burke doesn't seem to care, because tonight, the only thing Burke does care about is the IWO World Title. Burke makes his way to ringside, and climbs up the steel steps, onto the apron, and under the second rope, into the ring. Burke then taunts for the crowd, getting a louder response. Burke boos, while the referee comes over to Burke, and checks him for any weapons on him during this match. The crowds boos became even more louder, as "Voices" begins to play, sending the Legend Killer, Randy Orton walking out the ramp to mega boos. Orton runs to either corner of the ramp, listening to the fans response. Orton gets back up to the center of the ramp, and looks around, before doing his famous taunt, with golden pyro. Orton emerges out of the gold pyro, and walks down the ramp, slapping hands, grinning. Burke, in the ring, looks at Orton, and signals to him, that the title will be his. Michael Buffer: And from St. Louis, Missouri, he weighs in tonight at 265 pounds. He is... RAAAANNNNNDY ORRRRTON! Orton then makes his way to ringside, and slides into the ring, where Elijah Burke confronts him. Both men have a stare off, until the referee breaks it up. Orton then backs up, and goes to the turnbuckle, where he taunts again. As he slowly finishes his signature taunt, to a shower of boos. Orton then looks back at Burke, who has his taped fists ready to swing. Orton's theme fades out, as Orton and Burke walk to the center of the ring, not taking their eyes off one another. Finally, the bell rings. “Ding! Ding! Ding!” As soon as it rings, Burke clocks Orton with a huge right hand, taking him down. The crowd boos, as Burke goes to work, stomping Orton in the mid section numerous times! Burke then picks Orton up, and Irish Whips him into the ropes, and Clotheslines him right back down. Burke continues to pick on Orton, hitting him with an Elbow Drop in the chest. Burke goes for a quick cover, and counts along with his finger. “1…2…” Orton kicks out at an early two. Burke then picks Orton up, and backs him up into a corner. He then begins spearing him in between the turbuckles. Once... Twice... but as he goes for the third time, Orton pokes him in the eye! The crowd boos, as Burke turns around to aid to his eye. Orton then kicks the calf of Burke, sending him falling down to the mat. Orton picks Burke back up, and takes him down with a quick Armdrag.
